The NAC Logo

In 2022, the NAC held a contest for a logo to accompany the new design of the club's website. Ben Bosco submitted the winning entry, along with an explanation of the images in the design.

The logo is modeled after the US half-dollar coin reverse side image.
  1. The Nebraska Actuaries Club was founded in the mid-1950s, with its earliest records dating from 1953.
  2. The name of the club is the Nebraska Actuaries Club.
  3. The owl is a symbol of wisdom, and actuaries play a critical role in insurance companies' pricing, reserving, modeling, and planning.
  4. The calculator is instrumental in passing actuarial exams.
  5. The math book shows the Pythagorean Theorem, adapted to the club's letters (N, A, C).
